  4. Success!!!! I got in this time; one should never give up! :-)
Question: is there a connection between getting a new email account on Gmail and this Senior club or are they 2 different things we have learnt?
    Have a great weekend everyone!

  5. Hi again,
I answered my own question when I tried to send the previous comment and it would not let me unless I signed in the Google account: so, yes, the 2 are linked; how strange! and by the way Annaka is Annelise. There again, I did not know it was going to publish Annaka...
And the photo is taking during my trip to the Kimberley last year. :-)

  6. If I post a comment here will it show that I am doing it or do I have to go through gmail....
Not sure so I will try. Yes.. I did have to choose google so gmail definately has something to do with this blog. I do not understand that but I am sure all will be revieled soon. What fun this technology can be (as well as time consuming). Am looking forward to going to CATS next week. Need a bit of a technology break. Hope you all have a good week..

  11. Hi Rajiv,
How do I upload my picture from either My Pictures or Picasa 3 to the Followers of our Constitution Senior Computer Club? I tried from My Pictures and got the following message.

The file you selected could not be uploaded. It may be too large or it was not a valid image file. Please select another file or click the upload button to try again.

From Picasa I get the following message.

You are trying to access Picasa Web Albums with the following Google Account:
    hansduu@bigpond.com
However, you are already logged in with a different Google Account:
    hansduur@gmail.com
You can either cancel this request, or switch to a new Google Account to access Picasa Web Albums.
    Thanks, HANS

  12. Hi Hans,
I think as the message suggests you are probably trying to upload a file which is too large. Try again with your gmail account.

  15. Hi Rajiv, I have a question about my photos.
After my notebook was set up I decided to download the photos on my camera. I knew there was only 31 photos there so I thought this would be enough for me to work with at first. They have gone to three different folders all by themselves.
    c:\users\wendy\pictures
    Libraries\Pictures
    Microsoft Office Picture Manager
Now I have Picasaa 3 as well they are there too.
I am not going to put any other pictures on my notebook until I am able to control where they are saved and decide what software I can learn easily so I can create some slide shows and albums etc.
Hope you can advise me the best path to take
    Thanks
