Who want an other computer?

Jim Edgar wants to give his old computer away to somebody who can make good use of it.
With the help of Manish of Hiteck Australia, I managed to clean it up and is now ready to give away to someone who wants it.
He also is giving a way a Cannon printer in working condition and I believe it can print CD's as well.
The computer comes with a 'Diamond Digital" monitor. It is a LG desktop model with a 300GB HD, 1 GB of memory,Intel Pentium 4 CPU 300GHz, partitioned into 2 drives "C and D", Windows 7 Premium, Microsoft Office 2007,keyboard and a mouse!

Our Blog

I am thinking that now we know so much more about the internet and what a blog is (thanks to Rajiv) that perhaps we should use our blog more. Rajiv set it up for us to communicate and share information and perhaps some photos too. I feel I could use the practise how do you all feel?

Now I can't even work out how to add a photo so there is still a lot to learn!! Add image does not work for me.

I like to thank Rajiv for allowing the Conhillpals members to contact his office with any of our computer problems!
As you know I had a problem with Google connection and rang Vinit on Tuesday. He was very professional and helpful. We connected via Crossloop and it only took him about half an hour to fix the problem I have been struggling with for the last couple of weeks.
Thanks again Rajiv and Vinit for helping to fix the problem.
To use this service, it would be very helpfull if you allready have downloaded Crossloop. Don't be afraid to use it, all you have to do type in the pin he gives you and sit back and watch what he is doing.

Have been checking our blog for news.

Who is going to take up the challenge?

As we all know Gareth McCray is coming Saturday 28th of May to meet us during our normal computing class. Which one of our class member is going to take up the challenge to do a Power Point Presentation on that day?
It is not that difficult and you have 1 ½ week to do it. If you need a hand, I might be able to help you.
The class will in the dining room, starting 9 30 am and bring a plate.

Problem posting photo on blog

Hi Wendy
I have the same problem trying to put my photo on the blog I click on my name which takes me to a page on which I can load my photo but it only appears on the dashboard and user profile.
Hans very kindly posted the procedure to follow but as I explained to him I do not have a grey picture to "click on" as I am not yet a "follower".

Trouble working with the blog

I don't understand why there are two places to sign in and out on the Blog.
There is the spot at the top right of the blog and the spot where the followers are.
When I sign in where the followers are to try and put my photo on the blog the small green line which indicates the computer is doing something appears at the bottom of the screen with the green part only halfway along fading in and out and not getting anywhere.
When I try to add a photo which I select from Libraries Pictures it says file selected could not be uploaded. The JPEG image is only 548KB. Meanwhile the green thing is still trying to complete some sort of task. It seems it is stuck or something.
As you can tell I have no idea what I am talking about. Help!!
